Leland Wine and Food Festival – June 11, 2016

A northern Michigan tradition… 2nd Saturday in June!

Celebrate northern MI Wine & Food in Leland!
Enjoy tasting local award-winning wines, delicious specialties from local restaurants and vendors while soaking up beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands from our Leland Harbor venue. Our ‘Come & Go’ re-entry wristbands allow you to explore our beaches, unique shops, galleries and Historic Fishtown, and then return for more festival fun!

Non-Stop Live Music
Featuring closing live music by the Ben Daniels Band (yes, son of actor/musician Jeff Daniels!) – with their originality, musicianship, and a sound that spans Americana, blues, jazz, and rock. Fantastic local musicians also share the festival stage, including Leland’s Sierra Cassidy.

2016 Festival Poster
For 31 years, Leland Wine & Food Festival collectible posters have been embellished by local artist Joan Gallagher Richmond >View/Buy Poster

Leland Wine & Food Festival

On behalf of the Leland Michigan Chamber of Commerce, I would like to thank all the volunteers who shared their time to put on the 34th Annual Leland Wine and Food Festival. I would especially like to recognize Leland Public School for partnering with us once again to help make this festival possible, by providing support as well as volunteers from the Leland Educational Foundation and the Class of 2020. In addition, we thank many volunteers from our Leland community, the Leland Harbor, Leland Township Fire and Rescue and the Leelanau Christian Neighbors. Perfect weather combined with wonderful volunteers made this festival a success.

The Leland Wine and Food Festival is the primary source of funding for the Leland Chamber of Commerce. The proceeds from this event are used for beautification projects such as bridge flowers and trees in town, the Fourth of July parade and fireworks, marketing for our business members, weekly event emails to the community, holiday lighting and much more. In addition, the Chamber is able to make donations to local groups such as the Leland Educational Foundation, Leland Township, the Leland Township Public Library, the The Old Art Building and the Leelanau Christian Neighbors. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for helping us host a fantastic event!
